HOW TO MAKE DAIRY FREE MOUSSE WITH DANDY BLEND

This easy homemade mousse recipe is so delicious, your friends and family will think you bought it from a high-end restaurant and packaged it as your own. You just need six ingredients to enjoy it: coconut or heavy whipping cream, semi sweet chocolate, Dandy Blend, water, vanilla extract, and sea salt.

We like to wash as few dishes as possible, so we’re going to use our blender for a majority of this recipe. Start by adding ⅔ cup of your cream of choice and blend on medium to high speed until soft peaks form. Scoop into a separate bowl.

Next, start to warm up the remaining ½ cup of cream over the stove. Don’t let it come to a boil. While it’s heating up, add the chocolate, Dandy Blend, and hot water to the blender. Blend on medium-low and then slowly pour in the warm cream. Blend until smooth.

In thirds, add the chocolate mixture to the fluffy whipped cream and gently fold together until combined. Divide the mixture into 4 to 6 ramekins or bowls and refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Once set, top with more whipped cream or a sprinkle of Dandy Blend and enjoy.

Recipe

Easy Homemade Chocolate Mousse with Dandy Blend Ingredients:

  • ⅔ cup and ½ cup coconut cream (or heavy whipping cream)
  • 8 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips (or a bar, finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Dandy Blend
  • ¼ cup hot water
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt

Directions:

  3. Add chocolate chips, Dandy Blend, and hot water to the blender and mix on medium speed.
  4. Slowly start to pour the warm cream into the blender, followed by the vanilla and sea salt. Continue blending until smooth.
  5. In thirds, add the chocolate mixture to the whipped cream, gently folding together until just combined.
  6. Divide the mixture into ramekins or small bowls and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
  7. Top with more whipped cream if desired and enjoy.
