Ways to Use Caramel Dipping Sauce

This versatile healthy caramel recipe is perfect for dipping apple slices, drizzling over oatmeal, or stirring into your morning Dandy Blend latte. You can also use it as a topping for ice cream, pancakes, or even as a filling for homemade cookies. The possibilities are endless.

How to Make Healthy Caramel with Dandy Blend

This caramel recipe couldn’t be more fun or simple to make. You’re going to start out by soaking dates in hot water to soften them up. This helps achieve the creamy, caramel texture. Once soft, drain the dates then add to a blender. Add milk of choice (full-fat coconut milk works great and so does almond milk), Dandy Blend for nice, roasted notes, some vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Blend until well combined and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.

Recipe

Healthy Caramel with Dandy Blend Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1 cup hot water
  • ½ cup milk of choice (coconut or almond works great)
  • 2 teaspoons Dandy Blend
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of sea salt

Directions:

  1. Soak dates in hot water for 15 minutes until soft, then drain.
  2. In a blender, combine soaked dates, milk, Dandy Blend, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Blend until smooth. Transfer mixture to a tight-fitting container and store in the refrigerator for 7-10 days.
