Pro tip: if you use chicken (or vegetable) broth instead of beef, it will be even more mild and in our opinion, nearly undetectable. Add a dollop of whipped cream, and you (or your friends and family, even kiddos) won’t notice it one bit.
How to Make Bone Broth Hot Chocolate with Dandy Blend
This bone broth hot chocolate recipe is so delicious for how easy it is. Simply gather bone broth and milk of your choice, cacao powder, sweetener (we like coconut sugar or maple syrup), Dandy Blend, vanilla extract, and sea salt. If you’d like an extra boost, you can add an additional serving of collagen powder. Add everything to a pot over low heat and whisk until combined. You’ll need a few vigorous blends to fully dissolve the cacao powder, then just let it simmer until it reaches your desired temperature. It also stores well if you want to make it ahead of time or save to enjoy chilled.

Bone Broth Hot Chocolate with Dandy Blend:
- 1 cup bone broth of choice
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1.5 tbsp cacao powder
- 3 tbsp maple syrup or coconut sugar
- 1 tablespoon Dandy Blend
- 1-2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Scoop of collagen powder (optional)
Directions:
- Add all of the ingredients to a pot over low heat.
- Stir continuously until smooth and cacao is completely dissolved.
