What are Frozen Fudgesicles?

Frozen fudgesicles are creamy chocolate popsicles with a texture somewhere between ice cream and a traditional popsicle. Unlike fruit-based frozen treats, fudgesicles are rich, smooth, and dessert-like. A classic fudgesicle is usually made with dairy, however we made our homemade fudgesicle recipe with non-dairy ingredients. You can easily swap them for cow’s milk and cream, though. Plus, we added Dandy Blend to bring a subtle roasted depth that complements the chocolate beautifully.

How to Make Frozen Fudgesicles with Dandy Blend

In two steps, you can have delicious homemade fudgesicles stocked in your freezer. In a blender (or mixing bowl), combine milk, coconut cream, cocoa powder, Dandy Blend, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. We like cashew milk for its thickness, but you can swap for whatever your milk preference is. For the coconut cream, be sure to use as much of the thick part from the top of the can. This is easiest to scoop if you leave the can alone, avoiding shaking or mixing before opening. Once your mixture is blended or whisked until smooth, add to your popsicle molds. Freeze for about five hours or until fully frozen. If they stick to the popsicle molds, run a little warm water over them to loosen. Enjoy immediately or save for up to three months.
